At SlowFilmStudio, we are committed to providing our community with high-quality photographic film and analog supplies. Because of the technical nature of our products, we have established the following guidelines for returns and refunds.

Film

Due to the extreme sensitivity of photographic film to light, heat, and X-rays, we cannot accept returns or offer refunds on any film products. Once film has left our office, we can no longer guarantee its integrity or storage history; therefore, all film sales are final.

Photographic paper

• Unopened photographic paper may be returned for a full refund within 5 days of receipt.
• The outer packaging must remain completely intact and factory-sealed.
• Any paper that has been opened, even in a darkroom environment, is ineligible for return or refund.

Photographic accessories and hardware

All other accessories (including chemistry, tanks, and darkroom tools) may be returned within 5 days of receipt. To be eligible for a refund, items must be in their original condition, unused, and include all original packaging, tags, and labels.

Returns

To start a return process, please contact us at help@slowfilmstudio.co.za within the timeframes noted above. We will provide you with specific instructions and the correct return address.

Important conditions

• Condition: Returned items must be unused and in their original, unopened, undamaged packaging.
• Shipping Costs: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs unless the return is due to an error on our part.
• Processing: Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Please allow a reasonable window for your bank or credit card provider to process the credit to your account.
• Verification: We strongly recommend reviewing all product specifications and compatibility before completing your purchase.
