We take great care in packaging your analog supplies to ensure they arrive safely. Below are the terms and conditions that constitute our Shipping Policy.

Order processing times

All orders are processed within 1–3 business days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or public holidays.

• If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days.
• If there is a significant delay in your order shipment, we will contact you via email.

Shipping rates and delivery estimates

• Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout.
• Local Delivery (Western Cape): 1–2 business days.
• National Delivery (Major Centers): 2–4 business days.
• Regional or Remote Areas: 5–7 business days.
• International Shipping: Please contact us at help@slowfilmstudio.co.za for a custom quote if international shipping is not available at checkout.

Shipment confirmation and order tracking

You will receive a Shipment Confirmation email once your order ships, including your tracking number(s). The tracking number will be active within 24 hours.

Heat sensitivity and protection

To protect your film from heat damage, we may hold shipments over weekends and recommend delivering to an address where items can be brought indoors immediately.

Damages and loss

SlowFilmStudio is not liable for any products damaged or lost during shipping. However, we want you to have a great experience.

• If you receive your order damaged, please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
• Take clear photos of the damaged packaging and contact the shipment carrier to file a claim.
• Please also notify us at help@slowfilmstudio.co.za so we can assist where possible.

Incorrect shipping addresses

SlowFilmStudio is not responsible for orders that are delivered to an incorrect address provided by the customer. Please double-check your shipping details at checkout. If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, the customer will be responsible for the additional shipping costs to resend it.

(International only) Customs, duties, and taxes 

SlowFilmStudio is not responsible for any customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees incurred during or after shipping are the customer's responsibility (e.g., tariffs, taxes, etc.).
